MEMBERSHIP-RULES

 Membership of the Association shall be opened to all the old boys of the school who have been students of the school for at least one year and the permanent staff of the school (past and present), who have completed a minimum of two years of continuous service. An application from an old boy who has been in the School for less than a year may be considered by the Committee and  admission may be granted. Application for admission as member shall be made to the Secretary. Even such application shall be disposed of by the Committee who shall have power to grant admission or to refuse it. No reason need be given in case of refusal.

Notwithstanding what has been stated in the above Bye Law, an old boy will become eligible to apply  for membership only three years after he successfully completes his 12th standard or has completed  the age of 22.

Every member shall pay an annual subscription of Rs.50/- A lump sum of Rs.500 will entitle a member of Life membership (effective from 28-7-91) These rates of subscription are the minimum ; nothing in this bye-law shall be taken to prevent a member desirous of doing so from subscribing a large amount than that fixed. Old Boys who are studying in seminaries or are members of any Religious Orders of Congregation shall be exempted from the usual membership fees. The Accounting year of the Association will be from 1st April to 31st March.

No more ordinary member will be admitted. However those who have been regularly renewing their ordinary membership shall continue to do so.

Members would be entitled to the benefits of the Association from the time of payment of subscription with no retrospective effect. Defaulters of over one year shall be struck off the rolls. Those who have not paid their membership fee for the current year are not entitled to the benefits of the association. 

There will be no claim of arrears from defaulters who wish to re-join the association. Annual  subscription shall be payable in advance at the beginning of each Accounting year.

An Associated member is a well wisher of the school though not an Old Boy. The existing Associate Life members will continue to be members of the Association. They shall enjoy all the benefits of the  Association but shall have no voting rights. Further, membership for life and ordinary associate 

membership will be discontinued with effect from 1974.

Wives or husbands of members of the Association become "ipso facto" Honorary members of the association, having no voting rights and are not entitled to free copies of the Link. They shall enjoy all other benefits.
